Electronic Agreement & Payment

• By accepting an electronic or printed estimate, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the payment terms outlined in the estimate. Any pricing changes require the customer’s approval.
• A 50% deposit is required before Richards’ LLC orders materials or schedules the project.
• The remaining 50% balance is due in full when the project is completed. Outstanding balances may be subject to additional fees.
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
• Richards’ LLC may use before-and-after project photographs on its website and social media for promotional purposes. Customers who do not wish to have their project photos used must notify Richards’ LLC before work begins.

Warranty

• For concrete that is more than 10 years old, Richards’ LLC will provide one re-pumping service, if needed, within a one-year period at no charge when an area has settled more than ¼ inch.
• A $125 service fee will apply when a truck visit is requested within the one-year period for reasons not covered by this warranty.
• The warranty becomes void if the customer fails to properly seal cracks and joints or maintain the necessary backfill along the repaired slabs after the original lifting work is completed.
• The warranty does not cover settlement caused by flooding, severe weather, or other acts of God.
• The warranty excludes patches installed on or between slabs, as well as crack repairs performed by either the customer or Richards’ LLC.

Risk Allocation

• Richards’ LLC is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from its work, including, but not limited to, lost business, lost profits, or similar losses.
• Richards’ LLC is not liable for damage to landscaping, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Richards’ LLC is not responsible for cracks or damage to concrete slabs, floors, or walls that already exist or that may occur as a result of existing settlement or the concrete lifting process.
• If the concrete is determined to be beyond repair, cannot be successfully raised, or otherwise requires replacement, the customer is responsible for the cost and arrangement of replacing the concrete.
